Diane Farr (born September 7, 1969 in New York City, New York) is an American actress. She started out as a model at the age of 12.

Farr studied drama at New York's Stony Brook University and Loughborough University in England and graduated with a joint B.A. from these two universities. Before her acting career took off, Diane Farr waited tables in a Manhattan restaurant, Brother Jimmy's BBQ, as did actress Kim Director.

She has also written a book, The Girl Code, which was released in 2001 on Valentine's Day. She is currently working on a second book. She has also written and is writing for a number of magazines.

Note: There is another Diane Farr who is the author of eight historical romance novels published by Signet (Penguin Putnam/New American Library). There is also a British author named Diana Farr, who is sometimes confused with these two.
